Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program (LEED), is the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) third party green building certification program. BPE LEED Accredited Professionals assist companies in attaining LEED® building certification by implementing green solutions that provide a framework for continual improvement of environmental performance. By greening commercial and residential buildings, and using environmentally sensitive construction methods and materials, companies have increased the market value of their property, reduced operating costs, enhanced occupant comfort and health, and improved their corporate image among regulators, customers and the public.

During our strategic engagements, we conduct indoor environmental quality assessments and review building designs to ensure that energy and environmental elements are considered. During our facility assessments, our certified professionals focus on the five main categories of the LEED program for green building design, which include sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources as well as indoor environmental quality. We also evaluate components of your building design to determine if it meets Energy Star™ standards.

LEED Assessment, Consultation & Certification: BPE LEED Accredited Professionals conduct property assessments in accordance to LEED standards. We assess the environmental impacts of your facilities and business operations in relation to industry standards, and implement green solutions to support our client’s in attaining LEED® certification. For new building construction and renovations, BPE assists contractors in developing construction waste management plans and provides the necessary construction and demolition equipment to minimize adverse project impacts on surrounding areas during and after construction.

Strategic Supply Sourcing: Through logistical analysis of your supply chain, BPE works with you to select accredited suppliers that reduce the environmental impacts of your operations. BPE purchases green office supplies, equipment manufactured from re-used materials, and environmentally responsible technology from credible sources to support your green mission.

Regulation Compliance Assessment & Guidance: BPE performs site visits and implements solutions to avoid unnecessary fines and ensure your property is in compliance with local regulations. We provide commercial and residential energy code training for property managers and supporting compliance documentation.
